I've decided to stop producing original trance music once I get "Sonica" released, complete a remix, and do one or two collabs. Instead, I will be producing video game music. While most will be original, I will also be remixing some of my favorite video game soundtracks. I think it will be best if I do this, because I truly enjoy the world of video games! Things might be easier on me, too.

I will be removing nearly half of the tracks I have put up on Newgrounds (the older ones). If anyone reads this and would like to snag the tracks before they go away, you best hurry!

I have removed several tracks that I submitted over time, including Terrestria (demo), L'Alpha et l'Oméga, Corsikka, Infiniverse, Terrestria, My Serenity, Do Your Ears Hang Low (HH Rmx), and Chasing Blue Stars (Rough). Unfortunately, I was unable to remove Astral Sands and Hard Trance Sample, as the former had been used in a flash movie (a crappy one at that) and the latter was popular. I kept L'Alpha et l'Oméga (Edit) around not only because I had worked really hard on it, but for the fact that it's what really got me putting forth even more effort to produce quality music.

"Sonica" has been a bit delayed. However, I will be releasing "Mirage 6" on Friday, February 29. "Mirage 6" is mostly trance with some slight rave characteristics, very trippy. A low-quality version will be submitted to Newgrounds while the high-quality version will be up on www.myspace.com/djimn.

The final release of "Chasing Blue Stars" has been submitted today. You can listen to it by clicking here. The epic track features deep aspects of trance music including heavy reverb, some build-ups, and great-sounding synths, with a long intro and outro -- great for inserting into a non-stop mix with a clean transition. I kindly ask that you leave some feedback and that you vote reasonably. All comments are viewed and considered by myself. In addition, I will return the favor by leaving feedback on any of your submissions, should you have any.

In other news, my new single "Sonica" is in the works. I have little information to give at this very moment, but I will say it is a techno track with some aspects of trance -- my specialty. It should be no more than a month before it is released. While it will be submitted here at Newgrounds, it will be of lower quality. A high-quality version will be available at www.myspace.com/djimn at the same time.

The complete song "Chasing Blue Stars" is being submitted to NG this Friday. It is 99% complete; just a few minor tweaks and the trance track will be ready for debut. It will be the last full song of my own I will submit to NG in high-quality; later productions will be posted on Myspace.

I have a couple of other songs currently in production, and I even have a cover of one of the singles. I will include the picture (which includes the song name) in a later news post. Also worthy of note is the fact that I am collaborating with some fellow members of NG. There is no word yet on what the projects will consist of, but I am certain that they will be killer tracks once completed.

So the (previously) undefeated Patriots lost, hahaha! Good for them; they deserve such a loss against the Giants. I'm a Colts fan, so it's nice to see a Manning take down the Patriots in Super Bowl XLII.

I've got three tracks coming very soon to NG. "Stimulus Novae", the extended and complete version of "Hard Trance Sample", will be uploaded by Friday, September 7th. Soon following its release will be "Corrupted", a slower and calmer but very hypnotic track.

It will be some time before I upload my unnamed project featuring vocals by Kate Lesing. It's very energetic but not as happy-sounding as other tracks here on NG that feature the same vocals.
